A true story about a young dancer named Scarlett from Los
Angeles, California. Seeking to make it big in Las Vegas, NV as a showgirl.
Arriving to Las Vegas in 1987, having been one of the first graduates
of the famous Los Angeles County H.S. for the Performing Arts. She has an
immense talent, beauty and determination. She does whatever it takes to get
into some of the biggest shows in Las Vegas. Nothing will stand in her way.
She attends UNLV in 1987 for a brief time then gets her
first dancing gig for a show in Lake Tahoe, NV. After 6 months in Lake Tahoe,
she auditions for one of the biggest production shows in Las Vegas,”Les Folies
Bergere’ at the Tropicana Hotel/Casino. She becomes one of the youngest dancers
to perform in this famous show in 1988.
Scarlett goes onto to perform in more than a dozen
production shows in Las Vegas and around the world.
Her life onstage, backstage and offstage is filled with
intriguing stories about the local mob, drugs, sex, violence, love and
heartbreak.
Eventually her career as showgirl comes to end in late
November 2002.
Her story is compelling and shows both sides of Las Vegas.
